A contemporary home on an infill site in Greenwich, London

  • Non disclosed

  • Timber frame SIP construction

    Lime plaster façade

    Green roof

    Triple glazed

Our client owned an end of terrace house and garden. The new house sits at the end of this row on a 4m wide site.

The house is finished in lime plaster which is coloured using iron oxide, a colour inspired through an analysis of the local character. The house uses materials that are low in embodied energy. We also developed an energy strategy to ensure that it exceeds Part L of the building regulations, creating a highly insulated frame and using high performance triple glazing throughout.
